Whale Watch – Plymouth, Massachusetts
Hi Everyone!
Hope you’re having a good summer in spite of all this rain!
Details on the Whale Watch trip being scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2009 can be found at the link below. I will make a group reservation if we get 20 people to go. Otherwise, everyone will make their own reservation on-line. Please respond to me by Aug. 5th if you plan to attend so I can get back to everyone if we don’t get 20 people.
We are able to bring camera bag and a tripod if you want on the boat. No glass/alcohol containers. I went on this trip a couple years ago and the whales come very close to the boat.
Price is $40/person ($34 for those 62+ ID required). We will go on the 11:00 trip. Driving to Plymouth takes approximately 2 – 2 1/2 hours depending on the route taken. I have attached 2 separate map quest directions and a map of the area for parking. There is a parking lot at the dock if we’re lucky. For those who want to carpool, we’ll meet at the commuter lot off I-84, exit 67 * (Vernon/Tolland/Coventry) and leave at 7:00 am. Otherwise, please be on the dock by 10:30 ready to board.
* – please note updated exit #
