If you want to submit any entries for the Annual Awards you have until Monday, 5/17/10 to do it.  Please refer to the Submissions for Digital Year End Competition post for entry guidelines.

Because it’s a much more manual process to put this competition together than the regular monthly competitions, there will be no entries accepted after the deadline.

Also, if you’d like your entries to be considered for the Art Rich Nature Award, you need to let me know that when you send in the entry.  The image must meet the PSA Nature Definitions and have received a score of 23 or higher during a regular monthly competition during the year.  The PSA Nature Definitions can be found here.

Since all of the images for the year end competition are required to have been entered in a monthly competition during the year, I already have all of the images so there is no need to submit them again.  Just send an email to the normal submission email address (not any of my personal accounts please).  In the email, include the title of the image, competition you are entering it in, and, if you’re one of those that likes to send your files in without renaming them to something meaningful (i.e.  _img001.jpg instead of title.jpg), if you’d include the file name it would be appreciated.  That will make it much easier to find the images.

Rick General Competition Entries

If you compete in COPS competitions it is assumed that the Club can enter your images in Interclub competitions, such as NECCC or The Glennie Nature Interclub, unless you explicitly inform the Club that you don’t want us to.  It is also generally a rule that a maker can only enter images through one Club so, if you allow another Club to enter your images in Interclub competitions, you need to let us know so that we don’t enter any of your images.  This will help to prevent disqualifications.
